In 2003, AcousTech was little more than a dream shared by a handful of passionate acoustic engineers. With a single workshop and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of noise control, the company set out to prove that silence could be more than the absence of sound—it could be a transformative force for safety, productivity, and well-being.
By 2008, word had spread about AcousTech’s innovative approach to workplace noise reduction. With an influx of projects from various industries, we expanded our in-house manufacturing capabilities to meet growing demand. This move allowed us to maintain rigorous quality standards and customise our acoustic solutions in ways few competitors could match at the time.
In 2012, our pursuit of cutting-edge solutions led us to form collaborations with leading research institutions. Working side by side with experts in materials science and acoustic engineering, we developed advanced soundproofing technologies—pushing the frontiers of noise reduction and setting new benchmarks within the industry.
Four years later, AcousTech opened its second facility to keep pace with growing orders and client needs across Australia and New Zealand. This expansion streamlined our design, engineering, and production processes, empowering us to deliver solutions more efficiently than ever. At the same time, our client base continued to diversify, from heavy manufacturing to cutting-edge infrastructure projects.
As remote work and digital solutions became more vital across industries in 2020, AcousTech adapted by offering remote installation support and virtual consultations. These services allowed clients nationwide to benefit from our expertise—no matter their location. We embraced new technologies and communication platforms to ensure minimal disruptions, further solidifying our reputation for adaptability and collaboration.
Now recognised as a leading authority in industrial noise control, AcousTech remains anchored by the same ideals that sparked its creation.
