Shattering Barriers, One Decibel at a Time

Flexshield was the first to specialise in industrial PVC solutions and trade training centres, gradually evolving into noise control. Our origins are rooted in flexible products, reflected in the name Flexshield. AcousTech was later introduced to focus specifically on industrial noise control, but early on, trust remained largely with the established Flexshield brand, and AcousTech struggled to gain traction.

Driven by industry innovations and evolving business goals, we set out to relaunch AcousTech with a clear vision: to develop two distinct brands, each with its own focus, yet both powered by over 20 years of Flexshield expertise and know-how.

As the project-specific arm of the Flexshield Group, AcousTech combines proven expertise with engineering precision to solve complex noise control challenges at scale.

Over the years, Flexshield earned national recognition for its industry-leading acoustic welding bays, becoming the standard solution for many schools across Victoria. Our acoustic curtains have been trusted on major construction sites nationwide. However, as Australia’s infrastructure projects grew larger and more complex, so did the demands for noise control solutions. This evolution created the need for greater capacity and specialised expertise, which is where AcousTech was born.
