Sonic System acoustic modular panel V100SP

The Sonic System acoustic modular panel V100SP is a specialised acoustic panel engineered for high-performance sound insulation with integrated sound absorption, making it suitable for reverberant industrial environments and high-noise plant applications.

The system incorporates a perforated steel acoustic face (38% open area), a 100mm Rockwool core at 70kg/m³, a 1.5mm supported steel sheet, a 10 mm drywall septum, and a 1.0mm solid external steel sheet. Those two internal layers are why the V100SP reaches Rw 45 against the V100’s Rw 37.  Sound absorption is measured to AS ISO 354 and airborne sound transmission loss to AS 1191-2002, with Rw determined to AS/NZS ISO 717.1. The V100SP achieves NRC 0.90 and Rw (C;Ctr) 45 (−3;−9), with transmission loss reaching 64.6dB at 4000 Hz.

Ultimate wind load pressures for the V100SP are assessed to AS/NZS 1170.2 (see Test Data), and it is suited to acoustic enclosures, compressor buildings, and plant rooms where high levels of sound containment are required.
