Unique acoustically tuned fireproof sound absorption
Sonicsorber is a sound absorption polyester or foam consisting of a unique acoustically tuned fireproof sound-absorbing facing, along with environmentally friendly acoustic polyester-wool. The facing is neither ignitable nor flammable, and has high temperature resistance of up to 550ºC.
Traditional fireproof facing materials have little or zero acoustic properties. By contrast, this unique fireproof facing has been engineered to maximise sound absorption at low to mid frequencies. Combined with the thermally bonded acoustic polyester-wool, Sonicsorber provides exceptional high sound absorption at low to mid frequencies.
Compared to conventional glassfibre-based and non-hydrolysis-resistant acoustic foam materials, Sonicsorber soundproofing foam has high durability in hot and humid conditions and offers you a long service life.

AcousTech Sonicsorber is available as 25mm, 50mm, and 100mm thick sheet or rolls.
The sheets are 1200mm x 2400mm and the rolls are 1,400mm x 15,000mm. Choose between the options of with or without self-adhesive backing.
