Initial project requirements
TAFE Queensland Ipswich campus (otherwise known as Bundamba Campus or Bundamba TAFE) was upgrading their facility by turning a large shed into a high functioning trade training centre.
Bundamba TAFE offers a comprehensive range of study areas including nursing and aged care, agriculture and horticulture, automotive, hospitality, beauty and hairdressing, engineering, building and construction. The campus provides a range of specialist facilities for students from many of these disciplines.
Project challenges
The large-scale Bundamba TAFE redevelopment required the specialist Flexshield team to work together with a variety of other construction teams, including several onsite “team meetings” with QBuild and the other providers. The designer, project coordinator and factory manager worked together effectively to meet delivery times.
